Terms of service
Last updated 29 October 2026
The service
Clivo gives agencies and freelancers a workspace for projects, client chat, files and invoices, plus a private portal for each of their clients. By creating a workspace you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your team.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity in your workspace.
- Workspace owners and admins decide who joins the team and what clients can see.
- Anyone with a client portal link can view that portal, so share links only with the intended client.
Plans and billing
Plans are paid in advance at checkout. Subscriptions renew each month or year until cancelled, and cancelling keeps access until the end of the paid period; after that the workspace pauses and nothing is deleted. Client portals stay readable while a workspace is paused.
Client payments
Clivo doesn't process payments between you and your clients. Invoices in Clivo are records you share; your clients pay you directly, and Clivo never holds those funds or takes a cut.
Your content
You own everything you upload or write in Clivo. We only process it to run the service for you. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
Ending the service
You can stop using Clivo at any time. We may suspend workspaces that abuse the service or break the law. These terms may change; we'll tell workspace owners by email before material changes take effect.
